I wrote this "protest" poem several years ago, figuring it wouldn't be pertinent for very long. Sadly, I was mistaken. So, I decided to make it into a video presentation. It's a reminder that a "lost" soldier's mother is a casualty of war too. I mean no disrespect to our soldiers, they are just doing their jobs. For every soldier lost, a mother loses a son (or in some instances, a daughter). This poem is for those mothers. Background music by Kevin MacLeod.
